THE FEEDING RITUAL
Every morning, at 9 am
The ranch's signature: each morning, guests feed the animals alongside the team that cares for them — included in the price of your stay.
They are wonderfully gentle animals, used to meeting and interacting with people of every size. It's the moment children never forget.

Meet each of them
The llamas
Eight in all — we are the first and only llama breeders in the Chapada region.
Paco
The ranch's baby llama, Penelope's little one.
Penelope
Adult llama and Paco's mother — the two wander the pasture side by side.
The mares
Three mares roaming free across the property, part of the family guests meet at feeding time.
The ponies
Two ponies, just the right size for children's rides.
The goats
Four wonderfully gentle goats, always first in line at feeding time.
And that's not all: six rabbits and the guinea pigs complete the family.

Three things about llamas
The llama was domesticated almost 5,000 years ago in the Andes — one of the oldest domestic animals in the world.
With a soft foot like a dog's, the llama does not compact the ground when it walks: 90% less environmental impact than a horse.
The llama is a relative of the camel — the same family as alpacas, guanacos and vicuñas.
